No. Skid Hitch grips clamp onto the track's cross-link lugs — the same structural points the track is already built around. They don't penetrate, cut, or stress the rubber beyond normal operating loads.
Skid Hitch grips are designed for ice, compacted snow, and frozen ground. We don't recommend running them on bare concrete or asphalt for extended periods — remove them when working on hard-surface job sites.
Individual grips are available as replacements. Our 2-year warranty covers material and workmanship defects — contact us directly and we'll sort it out. No third parties, no runaround.
